Meta Ads
At the top right you will find the period of the report (and you can change the period via the dropdown)
CTR (Click-through-rate).: The percentage of people who click on your ad after seeing it. If 100 people see your ad and 5 of them click, the CTR is 5%.
CPC (Cost per click): The amount you pay each time someone clicks on your ad. The lower the CPC, the cheaper it is to get visitors to your website.
CPM (Cost per mille): The cost to show your ad 1,000 times, regardless of whether someone clicks on it. This is often used in brand awareness campaigns.
Views/impressions: The number of times your ad is shown. This does not mean that someone actually noticed the ad or clicked on it.
Campaign: The overarching structure within an advertising platform in which you define what your goal is (such as more website visitors or more sales).
Ad set: A group within a campaign in which you set who will see your ad (for example, which age group or region) and how much you want to spend.
Ad (Advertisement): The actual ad that people see, including the image, video and text. This is what your target audience ultimately sees in their timeline or search results.
Audience Network: Meta's (Facebook) ad network that allows you to show ads not only on Facebook and Instagram, but also on other apps and websites that partner with Meta. This helps you reach a larger audience outside the Meta platforms while still using the same targeting options.
